The Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Part-Time HR Administrator to join our internal HR team.
This is a varied role supporting the day-to-day HR function across the business, including employee administration, payroll, recruitment and onboarding, learning and development, HR systems and employee relations.
The role would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, has strong attention to detail and is looking to develop their experience across a broad range of HR activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage HR inboxes and respond to employee queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with pay-related queries and communicate relevant employee changes to Payroll.
- Support the accurate and timely processing of NI and ROI monthly payroll.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding of internal employees.
- Assist with internal recruitment, including job postings, interview coordination and offer letters.
- Support managers in following recruitment and selection policies and procedures.
- Track employee performance reviews and training compliance.
- Provide administrative support to Learning & Development activities and coordinate the quarterly training calendar.
- Support the HR Advisor with employee relations matters, including note taking where required.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and ad hoc HR reports.
- Maintain and update employee information within HR systems.
- Support employees and managers with HR system queries and record updates.
- Assist with new user setup, induction courses and HR compliance requirements.
- Support HR projects and wider HR initiatives as required.
- Ensure confidentiality, data protection and HR compliance standards are maintained at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in an administrative or similar role.
- Experience handling confidential information and maintaining accurate records.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional, reliable and proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths.
- Full clean driving licence or appropriate access to transport, as some travel is required.
Desirable
- Experience in recruitment coordination, onboarding or employee relations support.
- Experience using HR or business support systems.
- Experience with reporting and analytics.
- Previous exposure to GDPR compliance and HR reporting.
- Experience supporting system implementations or data migrations.
- CIPD Level 3, or currently working towards it.
- Degree in HR, Business Administration or a related discipline.
