Rigid Driver (Part-time and Full-time)

Staffline Recruitment Ireland is seeking a Rigid Driver with a strong focus on safety, customer service and reliability. These are full-time permanent and part-time opportunities based in Limerick.

The company is a leading provider of secure document destruction, information security and recycling solutions in Ireland. Working with businesses across various industries, the organisation ensures confidential documents and materials are securely collected, transported and processed in line with strict security, compliance and environmental standards.

Responsibilities:

As a Rigid Driver, the role involves operating a specialist collection vehicle, visiting customer sites throughout Ireland and providing secure document collection services. Full training will be provided on company procedures and specialist equipment.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Operating a rigid truck and completing scheduled routes to customer locations throughout Ireland;
• Collecting confidential documents and materials in a secure and professional manner;
• Loading and handling materials in line with company procedures and Health & Safety standards;
• Operating specialist collection equipment safely and efficiently;
• Completing required paperwork and maintaining accurate service records;
• Providing excellent customer service while representing the company professionally at customer sites;
• Working independently when required while also supporting a team-based approach;
• Following all company security, environmental and Health & Safety procedures.

The position combines driving, customer interaction and physical work, offering a varied working environment.

Benefits:

• Competitive salary from €33,000 €37,000 per annum (depending on role and experience);

Criteria:

• Full Category C (Rigid) driving licence;
• Valid Driver CPC and Driver Tachograph Card;
• Previous rigid driving experience is desirable;
• Good communication and customer service skills;
• Ability to carry out manual handling duties;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach;
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures;
• Successful completion of Garda Vetting.
