Are you highly organised with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills?

We are looking for a motivated Credit Controller to join a busy finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a full-time opportunity based in Limerick, offering the chance to work within a well-established and supportive organisation where accuracy, customer service, and teamwork are highly valued.

Responsibilities

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day credit control function and ensuring customer accounts are managed effectively. Your duties will include:

  • Managing customer accounts and following up on outstanding payments;
  • Contacting customers regarding overdue invoices while maintaining positive relationships;
  • Resolving customer queries relating to invoices and payments;
  • Maintaining accurate customer account records within the finance system;
  • Reconciling customer accounts and assisting with payment allocations;
  • Supporting month-end activities, including aged debt reporting;
  • Liaising with internal departments to resolve account queries efficiently;
  • Contributing to healthy cash flow through effective credit control practices.

Criteria

  • Previous experience in a Credit Controller, Accounts Receivable, or Finance Administration role;
  • Strong communication and customer service skills;
  • Good attention to detail and excellent organisational skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications;
  • Experience using ERP or accounting systems is desirable;
  • Ability to manage workloads and work effectively as part of a team.
