About the Role

An excellent opportunity has become available for an Electronic Security Systems Service Engineer to join a leading security solutions provider based in Dublin.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and detail-oriented field service engineer to work with leading corporate clients on the servicing, maintenance and support of advanced electronic security systems. The role is responsible for planned preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and reactive repair of integrated Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarm and Intercom systems across enterprise-level environments.

Working across commercial offices, pharmaceutical facilities, healthcare environments, industrial sites and critical infrastructure throughout Ireland, you will service sophisticated electronic security installations while receiving ongoing training and development on industry-leading technologies.

Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards while acting as a trusted and professional representative of the company on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing of electronic security systems as scheduled by the Service Manager
  • Ensure that service and maintenance works are completed on time, within company standards and to the customers satisfaction
  • Respond to emergency call-outs and participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota when required
  • Liaise professionally with customers, site representatives, electrical contractors and project teams
  • Minimise material waste and support company environmental objectives
  • Always represent the company professionally while working independently across multiple client locations

Required Experience

  • Provide a continuous 5-year checkable work or educational history for vetting purposes
  • Full clean Irish/ EU driving license
  • Unrestricted right to work in Ireland
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Excellent understanding of current standards relating to Security Systems
  • Experience installing, servicing and maintaining Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarm and Intercom systems.
  • Experience fault finding and integrating electronic security systems.
  • Strong communication skills with confidence explaining technical information to customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently
  • Practical problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • A genuine interest or understanding in electronic security technologies and continuous professional development.

Electronic engineers / technicians with experience working with the following software systems and electronic security equipment are encouraged to apply.

Access Control systems: Lenel, Genetec, EntraPass, Kantech, CCURE, Pacom, Integriti, Protege, Ipassan, Vanderbilt, and Milestone.

Security Hardware: Honeywell, Axis, Bosch, Siemens, and 2N.
