FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT| PUBLIC SECTOR | 3 MONTH CONTRACT | €60k | HYBRID

Staffline Recruitment is currently recruiting a Financial Accountant on behalf of our client, a leading organisation headquartered in Dublin City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified professional to join an established team. The role is an integral role within the finance function for the organisation and will report directly to the financial controller.

The role will be offered on a full-time, contract basis for a 3-month period with a possibility of extension.

THE ROLE |

The main purpose of this role is to provide day-to-day support to the Finance department, ensuring high-level and cost-effective financial reporting is carried out in accordance with internal and external policies. This is a hands-on role involving financial statements, audits, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES |

• Prepare annual financial statements and liaise with external auditors
• Maintain strong budgetary control and recommend improvements
• Produce timely financial reports and respond to third-party queries
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Develop and improve financial systems and reporting tools
• Oversee accounts payable reporting and finance operations
• Supervise and support finance team members
• Ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations

REQUIREMENTS |

• Professionally qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience
• Strong experience in financial & management accounting, audits, and reporting
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
• Highly proficient in financial systems and reporting tools
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
