At Staffline Recruitment we are working with a well-established and growing interiors and furniture retail business who are looking for a confident, organised Office Administrator to join their team.
This is a busy, hands-on role where no two days are the same, so it's perfect for someone who enjoys being at the centre of operations and keeping things running smoothly.
What you'll be doing:
- Answering incoming calls and dealing with customer and supplier enquiries
- Managing a busy inbox and keeping responses organised and up to date
- Maintaining on-order reports and tracking progress
- Coordinating stock transfers between locations
- Checking and approving invoices
- Handling invoicing and payment reconciliation
- Updating delivery dates from manufacturers in the system
- Keeping customers informed on delivery times and any delays
- Supporting with general admin across the business
What we're looking for:
- At least 1-2 years' experience in a busy admin/office role
- A confident and professional phone manner
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Great attention to detail
- Someone who can work independently and meet deadlines
- A proactive mindset - someone who likes to improve processes and bring new ideas
- Experience in furniture, interiors, or stock management would be a bonus, but not essential
