Location: Dublin
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Pattern: 8-hour shifts between 6:00am and 6:00pm
Weekend Work: 1 weekend per month required
Salary: €34,000 - €40,000 depending on experience

The Role

Staffline Recruitment Ireland is currently recruiting for a Workforce Planner / Labour Planner to join Keelings' operations team in Dublin.

This is a key position within a busy production environment, responsible for planning, scheduling and optimising labour resources to support operational efficiency, productivity and compliance. Working closely with Operations, Logistics and Recruitment teams, the successful candidate will play an important role in workforce planning across a 24/7 operation, helping to ensure the right people, with the right skills, are in the right place at the right time.

This role will also support reporting, payroll preparation, compliance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule labour to meet short, medium and long-term production requirements
  • Monitor workforce deployment against production plans to support efficiency and cost control
  • Ensure appropriate skill mix and headcount are in place across multiple business units
  • Maintain compliance with Working Time legislation and internal labour controls
  • Produce workforce reports, planning metrics and action plans
  • Prepare weekly payroll data, including hours worked and absence reporting for agency and direct staff
  • Maintain accurate staff records, labour data and supporting documentation
  • Support change initiatives, process improvements and systems testing activity
  • Carry out monthly audits and compliance checks
  • Coordinate transport, accommodation and agency staffing requirements as needed

Essential Criteria

  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and strong general IT ability
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work 8-hour shifts between 6:00am and 6:00pm in a 7-day production environment
  • Willingness to work additional hours where required
  • Strong team player with a professional and proactive approach
