Staffline Recruitment is a specialist in the provision of temporary and permanent staffing solutions to clients nationwide. We currently have a vacancy for a Clerical Officer to join our client's team based in Nass Co, Kildare. The role will be offered on a fixed-term basis initially, however there may be an opportunity to extend on a more long-term basis and/or apply for permanency once on board.

The Role: Clerical Officer

Responsibilities:

• Providing reception cover and general administrative support
• Uploading patient referrals to the database accurately and efficiently
• Supporting clinic operations, including attending and assisting during clinics
• Preparing and organising patient charts ahead of clinics
• Retrieving and managing medical records as required
• Handling telephone enquiries from patients, GPs, and other stakeholders
• Responding to patient queries in a timely and professional manner
• Ensuring clinic capacity is effectively utilised and optimised

Hours of work: 5/7 | 35 hours per week | Some evening and weekend work required occasionally

Requirements:

• A minimum of 1-2 years' relevant experience in a similar administrative role, ideally in the health care field
• Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Word and Excel
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively
• Strong customer support experience with an excellent telephone manner
• Experience of handling correspondence and handling sensitive and confidential data
• Excellent attention to detail with good analytic skills
