HR Administrator - 6 Month Contract (Potential Extension)

We are currently recruiting for two HR Administrators to support a busy and fast-paced engineering/manufacturing environment across two locations:

  • Campsie, Northern Ireland
  • Burnfoot, Co. Donegal

These are 6-month contract roles, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.


Salary

  • Burnfoot (ROI): €15.00 - 15.50 per hour
  • Campsie (NI): £13 per hour

The Role

The HR Administrator will play a key role in supporting the HR team with day-to-day administrative duties, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and assisting with core HR processes across a large operational workforce.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a high-volume, professional HR environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the HR team across a range of HR activities
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates
  • Support recruitment activities, including interview coordination and candidate communication
  • Prepare HR reports and maintain data within HR systems
  • Assist with payroll-related administration (timesheets, absence tracking, etc.)
  • Handle employee queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure all HR processes align with company policies and employment legislation

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Exposure to HR systems or databases
  • Understanding of basic employment legislation (NI or ROI)
