Electrician - Vertiv - Derry / Londonderry (Campsie)

Location: Campsie, Derry / Londonderry
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time
Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:00am-5:00pm | Fri 8:00am-2:30pm
Pay: £17 per hr + Bonus + Overtime

Staffline Recruitment Ireland is hiring Electricians on behalf of Vertiv due to continued expansion at their Campsie manufacturing facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Industrial Electrician, Maintenance Electrician or Electrical Assembly Technician seeking long-term career progression within a global leader in integrated power solutions and electrical switchgear manufacturing.

The Role

As an Electrician, you will support the electrical wiring, assembly and testing of LV/MV switchgear and control panels within a high-quality manufacturing environment, both onsite and at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical wiring and mechanical assembly of LV/MV switchgear
• Working from engineering drawings, schematics and production schedules
• Panel building and electro-mechanical assembly
• Current injection testing and quality checks
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance, including site modifications
• Thermal imaging inspections and reporting
• Identifying and reporting defective components
• Maintaining strict quality and safety standards

Essential Requirements

• City & Guilds Electrical Qualification
• Engineering Apprenticeship with AM2 (or equivalent)
• Current 17th Edition Certification
• Experience in electrical switchgear manufacture or similar industrial setting
• Field service / onsite installation experience

Desirable:

• Mechanical knowledge
• Familiarity with RAMS
• Experience using electrical hand tools and torquing techniques
