Contract: Permanent | Full-Time
Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:00am-5:00pm | Fri 8:00am-2:30pm
Pay: 22.50euro - 24.10euro per hr + Bonus + Overtime

Staffline Recruitment Ireland is recruiting an Industrial Electrician on behalf of Vertiv, a global leader in integrated power solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served Electrician to join a high-quality manufacturing environment working on LV/MV switchgear, control panels, PLCs and MCC systems within a structured, safety-focused operation.

The Role

As an Industrial Electrician, you will support the assembly, wiring and testing of electrical switchgear and electro-mechanical systems, ensuring all work meets engineering drawings, production targets and strict quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical assembly of LV/MV switchgear and control panels
• Panel wiring including PLCs, MCCs and control systems
• Working from electrical schematics, drawings and specifications
• Mechanical and electrical assembly of components
• Current injection testing and quality inspections
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance, site modifications and inspections
• Thermal imaging inspections and reporting
• Identifying and reporting defective components
• Supporting production deadlines and continuous improvement

Essential Requirements

• City & Guilds Electrical Qualification
• Completed Engineering Apprenticeship with AM2 (or equivalent)
• Time-served Electrician or Technician
• Experience in electrical switchgear manufacture or industrial manufacturing
• Panel wiring experience (PLCs, MCCs, control panels)

Desirable:

• 18th Edition Certification
• Mechanical knowledge
• Field service / onsite installation experience
• Familiarity with Risk Assessments and Method Statements
