Employee Relations Associate - Belfast (Hybrid, Permanent, Full-Time)

Salary: Circa £32,000 + 2 days WFH per week

Ready to grow your career in Employee Relations? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic HR team supporting key ER activity across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. What You'll Be Doing

Employee Experience & HR Administration

  • Managing offboarding, maternity, and sickness absence records
  • Monitoring the HR inbox and responding to employee/manager queries
  • Updating employee records and issuing contractual amendments
  • Providing accurate note‑taking support at ER and HR meetings

TUPE & Employee Relations Support

  • Supporting end‑to‑end TUPE administration
  • Preparing ELI information and coordinating staff communications
  • Arranging and attending TUPE consultations
  • Liaising with external providers
  • Supporting onboarding/offboarding for TUPE activity

Case Management & General ER Duties

  • Managing junior ER cases from initial concern to resolution
  • Drafting invite/outcome letters, reports and documentation
  • Supporting probation reviews, flexible working requests and investigations
  • Ensuring ER activity complies with NI & ROI employment legislation
  • Booking confidential meetings and providing accurate minute‑taking

What You'll Bring

  • 1+ year's experience within a busy Employee Relations function
  • Excellent multitasking and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Confident working in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks at once
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Ability to travel occasionally to Dublin and sites across Ireland
  • Basic knowledge of NI & ROI employment law (desirable)
