Band 6 Pharmaceutical Payment Manager
Location: BSO - Franklin Street
Pay: £19.10 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Pharmaceutical Payment Manager to support the FPS Pharmaceutical Service Manager in the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical payment and business services. The post holder will contribute to the operational management of payment systems and support service improvements across Family Practitioner Services (FPS).
Key Duties
- Support day-to-day management of pharmaceutical payment and business services
- Lead development of customer-focused systems and procedures
- Deputise for the Pharmaceutical Service Manager when required
- Contribute to service improvement strategies and new service development
- Provide advice on dental and ophthalmic claims and patient entitlements
- Monitor data quality, financial accuracy, and control environments
- Supervise staff and allocate workloads
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including Department of Health NI
Essential Criteria
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Degree or professional qualification in Business or Finance and at least 2 years' experience in a payment/finance environment, including 1 year at management level
OR - At least 5 years' experience in a payment/finance environment, including 1 year at management level
Desirable
- Knowledge or experience of FPS processing or payment systems
