Structural Engineer

Staffline Recruitment Ireland is partnering with a prominent manufacturing company to find an enthusiastic and skilled Structural Engineer. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong foundation in civil and structural design who is looking to advance their career with a focus on hands-on design and problem-solving. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team and contribute to a range of civil and structural projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and detail concrete elements to Eurocode standards, frequently using hand calculations to ensure precision and compliance.
• Utilise AutoCAD for detailed concrete designs and support other drafting requirements.
• Support project delivery through participation in design reviews, project meetings, and site visits as needed.
• Assist in the development and evaluation of structural and civil engineering projects across diverse sectors.
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers and project managers to ensure timely and accurate project completion.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Level 8/9 Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in a civil and structural design role, with prior Irish or UK project experience being highly advantageous.
• Progress toward Chartered Engineer status, demonstrating commitment to professional development.
• Strong hands-on work ethic and meticulous attention to detail.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to design challenges.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with an understanding of concrete detailing requirements.
• Knowledge of Revit, ETABS, Finite Element Analysis, Tekla Tedds is beneficial but not essential.
• Valid driving license and access to a car for travel to meetings and site visits.
