Health & Safety Officer

Staffline recruitment Ireland are recruiting for a leading concrete manufacturing company is looking for a proactive Health and Safety Officer to ensure safe, compliant operations. Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you will drive safety policies, risk assessments, and training, fostering a safety-first culture on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Policy Compliance: Ensure alignment with H&S regulations, updating policies as needed.
• Risk Assessments & Audits: Conduct regular site assessments, audits, and implement corrective actions.
• Incident Management: Investigate incidents and near-misses, conducting root cause analyses.
• Training: Develop and deliver training on safety protocols and maintain certification records.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain records of safety activities and prepare reports on H&S performance.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Health & Safety or NEBOSH certification.
• Experience: 2+ years in H&S, ideally in manufacturing or construction.
• Skills: Strong communication, training ability, and attention to detail. Proficient in MS Office.
