Key Responsibilities:

✅ Oncology Care & Chemotherapy Administration

• Safely administer cytotoxic chemotherapy via cannula, PICC, Hickman, or Portacath in accordance with set protocols.
• Provide specialist knowledge, guidance, and support to oncology patients throughout treatment.
• Educate patients and families about treatment, side effects, and recovery, offering written resources when appropriate.

✅ Collaboration & Communication

• Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Serve as a resource person within the unit and support fellow staff members.

✅ Leadership & Professionalism

• Supervise and assess staff competencies, ensuring high standards of care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately while maintaining compliance with professional and legal guidelines.
• Participate in training, mentoring, and continuous professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.

✅ Patient Safety & Quality Assurance

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and national healthcare standards.
• Participate in audits, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

🔹 Registered General Nurse (NMBI) license in good standing.
🔹 Oncology-related postgraduate qualification (desirable).
🔹 Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in oncology.
🔹 Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
🔹 Ability to multitask and effectively manage time in a fast-paced environment.
