Senior Grade Dietician

Full time, fixed term contract of one year and reporting to the Head of Clinical and Nursing Service.

My client, private hospital based in Dublin is seeking an experienced Senior Grade Dietician to join their team.

The role will suit someone coming from a Dietican background in clinical and acute services who has experience in parenteral nutrition, dietetic interventions and liaising with the multidisciplinary teams.

Key Duties:

• Co-ordinate the provision of nutrition services to the designated clinical areas.
• Provide nutrition and dietetic intervention and counselling to patients referred from the clinical specialties within the Hospital.
• Provide a comprehensive clinical nutrition service within established guidelines and follow departmental protocols where applicable.
• Co-ordinate and participate in nutrition committees and groups as required.
• Ensure educational materials and information databases that are used, are up to date and evidence based.
• Maintain accurate records of service provided in accordance with hospital and professional, policies/guidelines.

Essential Criteria:

• A recognised dietician qualification and maintain valid registration with CORU.
• Must have dietetic experience in an acute hospital or community setting.
• Experience working with parenteral nutrition is essential for this role.
• Experience working with Oncology Patients would be an advantage.
