Job Description

A leading Dublin hospital is seeking a dedicated GI Physiologist to join our specialist gastroenterology team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility, conducting diagnostic and functional tests for patients with gastrointestinal disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Perform esophageal manometry, pH monitoring, anorectal manometry, and breath tests.
• Accurately analyze results and provide comprehensive reports for clinicians.
• Maintain and calibrate GI physiology equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Support and educate patients undergoing GI functional testing.
• Work closely with gastroenterologists, surgeons, and dietitians in a multidisciplinary team.
• Adhere to hospital policies and clinical governance standards.

Requirements:

✔ Degree in Clinical Physiology, Biomedical Science, or a related field.
✔ Experience in gastrointestinal diagnostics (hospital experience preferred).
✔ Strong technical skills in operating GI diagnostic equipment.
✔ Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
✔ Registration with CORU (or eligibility to register) is an advantage.
