Staffline Ireland are delighted to announce we are recruiting for a Sales Order Processor for one o four clients in Hilden, Monaghan. The candidate will be required 3 days a week 8.30am-5pm.
Responsibilities
Processing of Sales orders onto Sage 200 (Accountancy Package) and ensuring the orders transfer to Emydex (Manufacturing System).
Once the order goes through to Emydex it needs to be crossed checked.
Orders are received via, email, edi and phone.
Depending on the way an order is received how it is inputted to Sage.
Some orders are electronically and can be transferred with fewer steps than those that come through on email or phone.
Each day has its own sales order schedule, so the candidate needs to ensure all orders expected that day are received and processed accordingly.
Candidate also needs to deal with customers on queries regarding orders
Some examples:
- Customer might want to amend an order (add or subtract)
- Customer might query why they are short on an order e.g. they order 100boxes and we only send 95boxes.
- Customers might want to understand when an order needs to be placed for a certain delivery date.
- Customers may have queries on use by dates of product.
The candidate will correspond with other departments what is possible to understand the details and how to best deal with the query.
Customers relationship is key.
Candidate will be dealing with queries across various departments in the business.
Once orders are despatched the candidate will use the system to pull orders back into sage, this allows weekly invoicing to be processed.
Where time permits, the candidate can also help with processing of invoices and or invoice queries.
Candidate needs good written and spoken English.
