QUANTITY SURVEYOR | PERMANENT | DUBLIN |

They are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis. Based on duties and business requirements, travel to project sites is required. Projects are a mix of Commercial Fit-Out as well as Commercial and Residential Build.
ABOUT THE ROLE|
Building on your previous experience as QS, you will play a vital role in current and planned projects for the future:
- You will assist the team in preparing tenders for upcoming projects.
- You will coordinate material and subcontractor procurement, valuation of works and financial reporting for projects.
- Liaise, negotiate and build relationships with stakeholders on an on-going basis
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES|
- Manage inquiries from start to finish, developing a solid understanding of General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
- Effectively quantify and itemise equipment and materials from provided drawings.
- Create comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and detailed proposals that meet project requirements.
- Conduct reviews of new tenders, analysing documentation and plans, complete tender assessment forms
- Successfully handle multiple projects at once, making informed decisions while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Attend site inspections and meetings
- Complete final account preparations and settlements
REQUIREMENTS|
- At least 4 years of relevant experience as Quantity Surveyor
- A third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying
- A full driving license and a willingness to travel to client sites as needed
- Proficiency in IT and familiarity with software packages
- An ability to work independently and collaboratively, contributing positively to team dynamics and project success.
