Location: Based in North Belfast with travel across the region
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced professional to lead a dedicated team supporting care-experienced young people aged 16+ through the Housing First for Youth model. This innovative service is designed to enable vulnerable young individuals to live independently and safely within their communities.
The Project Manager will be responsible for the operational delivery of the service, ensuring young people receive tailored, intensive support to sustain tenancies and build meaningful lives beyond homelessness. You will lead a team of Specialist Support Workers and coordinate with external partners to deliver an effective, client-centred service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support a team delivering complex, needs-led support to young people
Ensure effective service delivery aligned with organisational policies and safeguarding standards
Maintain accurate records, risk assessments, and service user plans
Build relationships with landlords and ensure tenancy sustainment
Monitor team performance, conduct regular supervisions, and manage rotas
Represent the organisation at external meetings and partnerships
Deliver services within budget and contribute to ongoing service development
Essential Criteria
At least two years of recent experience in staff management
Experience working within service budgets and financial procedures
Minimum of three years' experience supporting people with complex needs (e.g., homelessness, mental health, substance use, youth services)
Background in service delivery and development
Strong track record of multi-agency collaboration
Full current driving licence (or accessible transport alternatives where applicable)
Registration with NISCC or willingness to register upon appointment
Key Skills & Knowledge
Deep understanding of youth homelessness, trauma, and care experience
Knowledge of tenancy sustainment and support for clients with multiple needs
Proficient in IT systems and case management tools
Ability to lead with empathy, assertiveness, and professionalism
Commitment to non-judgemental, person-centred practice

Working Hours
