The Client: NI Water
The Role:
The Pre-Development Case Manager will be part of a team analysing and managing Statutory Consultee responses to Planning Authorities, Pre-Development Enquiries and completion of Property Certificates.
They will be responsible for ensuring NI Water compliance with environmental requirements in accordance with relevant legislation, whilst supporting economic growth and development, taking account of current capacity constraints, to ensure NI Water is protected in complying with its environmental and legislative responsibilities.
The Pre-Development Case Manager will apply a customer centric ethos in completing technical assessment of and responses to all Planning Applications, PDE's and Property Certificates to achieve compliance within Service Level Agreements.
Hours of Work: 37.50hrs per week
Requirements:
Essential Criteria:
- Have a 3rd level qualification e.g. HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent in a relevant field and a minimum of 1 years' experience in dealing with planning applications or 1 years' relevant experience in operations, asset management, engineering delivery or construction industry to include knowledge of design and construction of sewers and water mains
OR
A minimum of 2 years' experience in the civil engineering or construction industry within operations, asset management or engineering delivery with a working knowledge of design and construction of sewers and water mains or 2 years' experience in dealing with planning applications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with experience of dealing with customers/developers
- Proficient in the use of MS Office applications including Word and Excel
- As this post requires you to travel on official duty throughout Northern Ireland, you must have access to a form of transport which will enable you to fulfil your responsibilities. This is an operational requirement and is essential to meet business needs
Desirable Criteria:
- Knowledge of NIW's PDE, Impact Assessment, Property Certificate and Statutory Planning Response Policy and
Procedures
- Knowledge of planning legislation within Northern Ireland
- Knowledge of NIW's Geographical Information System (GIS), DAP and High Level Modelling Tools
Rate of Pay: £30,634 per annum
