Data Analyst (Leakage)

Temporary for 9-12 months (maternity cover)
The Client: NI Water
The Role: The Leakage Data Analyst is responsible for the analysis of company assets, the interrogation of company flows and pressures and the production of daily, weekly and monthly reports in line with functional procedures and audit requirements.
It will incorporate an in depth analysis of information, production of statistics and report generation for Leakage Services to facilitate the achievement of leakage targets, KPIs, water balances and regulatory reporting.
Hours of Work: 37hrs per week
Requirements:
- Essential Criteria:
Have a relevant 3rd level qualification in science, engineering and/or mathematics (or a similar discipline which has a significant mathematical content) - Have a minimum 2 years' experience in the management, analysis and control of business data to identify problems and produce solutions
- Experience working within a team to produce results
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Power BI
Desirable Criteria:
- Have a technical knowledge, skills and experience across corporate data systems which may include Leakage Management software, GIS, Mobile Work Management, customer or asset datasets
- Have a working knowledge of IT software tools for advanced analytics and reporting, for example: MS VBA, MS Power Pivot, Data Modelling etc
- Have an understanding or knowledge of leakage calculations
Rate of Pay: £30,634-£37,442 per annum
