Product Engineer

Staffline Recruitment are looking to add a Product Engineer to join our client's team in the Derry area. The Product Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining product specifications that are accurate and representative of each customers requirements. Design and purchase job specific tooling for use in the manufacture of products and maintain accurate records of product specification history.

Essential Criteria:

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or relevant discipline
• AutoCAD experience
• Strong background/knowledge of Microsoft computer software

Desirable Criteria:

• Detailed Knowledge of SAP

Responsible for:

• Act as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities
• Awareness of and and adherence to all: Environmental, Health&Safety policies & procedures
• Review each new product request received from customers
• Translate customer-supplied information into customer facing specification format using AutoCAD and communicate with customer directly for approval
• Generate clear and accurate internal product specifications in SAP
• Design, order and issue job specific tooling for use in accordance with associated manufacturing specifications
