My client a leading public sector organisation based in Belfast is currently seeking a Full-Time Multimedia Content Creator based in Belfast.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (37.5 per week)

Pay: £19.10 per hour

Please note: Prospective candidates will be Proficient in end-to-end multimedia production and digital content creation for campaigns and e-learning, and an understanding of the sensitivities of working in a healthcare setting.

Job Summary / Main Purpose

The post holder will be responsible for the creation, editing, and management of multimedia content to support strategic communications and campaigns across the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust (BHSCT). This includes working closely with service areas to produce engaging video, audio, and visual content that aligns with campaign objectives and organisational values.

The role also includes supporting the design and development of multimedia assets for e-learning modules, contributing to the Trust's learning academy and learning portfolio. The post holder will ensure all content is accessible, engaging and appropriate for online learning environments. The post holder will have experience in video production, content planning, and editing, with a clear understanding of the sensitivities involved when working in clinical and service user environments.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

For each of the following the poster holder will:

Content Creation & Campaign Support
* Capture high-quality video and audio content to support Trust-wide campaigns and service-specific communications.
* Edit and produce content for a range of platforms, including e-learning modules, induction materials, and staff development resources.

  • Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to design media assets that enhance digital learning experiences (e.g. scenario-based videos, voiceovers and animations)
    * Work collaboratively with services to understand objectives and deliver content that supports service improvement and engagement.


Campaign Planning & Scheduling
* Assist in the planning, scheduling and delivery of multimedia content
* Manage timelines and ensure that content is delivered to agreed deadlines and quality standards.
* Contribute to creative planning sessions and advise on multimedia best practices.
* Ensure appropriate consent is obtained from all individuals (including staff, patients, and service users) prior to filming or photography.

Administration & Reporting
* Work with internal stakeholders (e.g. service leads, HR, Corporate Communications, OD) to identify multimedia needs and provide expert support.
* Maintain a multimedia archive and manage permissions and access appropriately.
* Track usage, reach, and effectiveness of content where appropriate.
* Provide regular updates and reports to senior colleagues on progress, impact, and future plans.

Essential Criteria

Have a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant* field (e.g. Media production, digital communications or design, AND 2 years' relevant* experience

OR

Have a relevant HNC/HND in a relevant field AND 3 years' relevant* experience

OR

5 years' experience in a multimedia, film production, or digital content creation role without formal qualifications

AND

· Proficient in end-to-end multimedia production, including filming, editing, and delivering high-quality video content using a range of platforms

· Experience creating digital content for campaigns and e-learning, with the ability to adapt material for different audiences and platforms.

· Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, with an understanding of GDPR, and the sensitivities of working with patients, staff, and service users in a healthcare setting.

· Ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines across different campaigns or service areas, while maintaining attention to detail and creative standards.

· Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and explain creative decisions to a range of audiences.

· Demonstrates a values-led approach to content creation, ensuring outputs are inclusive, accessible, and aligned with HSC Values.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

  • Experience working in a large-scale organisation within the public sector or health and social care.
  • Experience creating or contributing to e-learning content within a digital learning platform (e.g. Articulate, Yvond or similar)
