Location: Northern Ireland (Full -time , temporary) avaialble locations - Derry, Castledowson, Omagh
Salary: Competitive, based on experience


Job Overview:

Staffline Recruitment is delighted to offer this joiner position with our client, based in Northern Ireland. This role is ideal for a skilled joiner with experience in maintenance and repair services, offering a fast-paced environment focused on efficient and high-quality service delivery.

Your New Opportunity:

This role involves delivering response maintenance repairs, ensuring repair requests are handled efficiently and cost-effectively while providing exceptional service to customers. Core responsibilities include conducting Response Repair Services, Void Works, surveying, fault finding, roofing repairs, and general joinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform 1st and 2nd fix duties, including ironmongery repairs, kitchen installations, door installations, and glazing
  • Work on void and tenanted properties
  • Collaborate with team members to provide courteous and respectful service to clients and tenants
  • Follow instructions from the site supervisor to meet client and tenant needs
  • Adhere to health and safety standards, using client-provided safety equipment
  • Ensure work areas are clean and organized at the end of each day
  • Complete and submit site or company documentation accurately and on time (electronically or paper-based, as required)
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Qualified or time-served with relevant experience
  • Skilled in 1st and 2nd fix joinery
  • Strong experience in minor building and maintenance joinery
  • Valid CSR Card
  • Availability for rotational Out-of-Hours callouts
  • Full driving licence

Preferred:

  • Experience in the social housing sector
  • Training in Working at Heights Harness
  • Excellent communication skills for customer interaction
  • Skills in PVC floor and ceramic wall tiling
  • Proficiency with PDA/smartphone/mobile working devices
