IT Support Technician

IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN | NORTH COUNTY DUBLIN | PERMANENT

We are excited to work with a wonderful client in North County Dublin who is expanding their team! They are looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to join them on a permanent basis. There is plenty of on-site parking available, and the location is easily accessible by public transport. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:45 AM to 5:00 PM.

ABOUT THE ROLE|

As an IT Support Technician, you will:

• Provide friendly remote technical support to customers, including helping with device installations and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate on-site installations for customers.
• Share your technical expertise with the pre-sales team.
• Offer assistance to your colleagues with any technical challenges they might face.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES|

• Deliver remote technical support to customers all over Ireland.
• Assist in remotely installing devices on internal networks.
• Coordinate on-site installations of products.
• Help the pre-sales team with technical recommendations.
• Provide support and assistance to fellow team members.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, while also managing ticket escalation and logging.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR|

• At least two years of relevant experience in an IT support role.
• A solid understanding of networks and network infrastructure.
• Excellent customer service skills, along with strong technical abilities, especially with MS Office programs.
• Relevant certifications, such as Comp-TIA Network+ or CCNA, would be a plus.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well in a team while managing and prioritising your daily tasks.
