INSURANCE ACCOUNT DIRECTOR | LONGFORD | PERMANENT

Based in Longford, our client is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Director to join their team on a permanent basis. They are seeking a new team member with at least 10 years of experience in Insurance Portfolio Coordination to join them in representing the Commercial and Corporate Lines Team.

THE ROLE|

In the Commercial and Corporate divisions, you will serve as the subject matter expert. Your primary goal will be to ensure that the best interests of the clients are served. You will provide support and assistance to complete the risk underwriting process in accordance with established workflows, procedures, and company protocol.

RESPONSIBILITIES|

  • Managing the programmes of a number of high value existing clients
  • Conducting several in-person meetings (or virtual) to support the general management of their portfolios
  • Ensure monthly New Business/Renewal targets are achieved
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships internally in order to assist with new insurance solutions and improve quality of service for clients
  • Building on relationships with external stakeholders identifying new business opportunities for all areas in the company
  • Re-broking renewals with a view to achieving team goals and objectives.
  • Processing and coordinating policies and all associated documentation ensuring company compliance and procedures are followed whilst providing excellent client service
  • Assist with projects as required

REQUIREMENTS |

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role
  • Minimum CIP qualified with proof of CPD
  • Excellent client management skills with a proven track record in sales and business development
  • Sound technical product knowledge and knowledge of the Commercial insurance market.
