Beach Caretaker
Cranfield Beach
Temporary
The Client: Local Government body serving local residents.
The Role:
The post holder will be responsible for maintaining a high level of general cleanliness, general maintenance and upkeep; ensuring a friendly and efficient service to the public.
Hours of work: 15 hours per week - would increase depending on the weather
Requirements:
- GCSE English and Mathematics
- At least 6 months previous work experience of cleansing duties in a working environment
- At least 6 months experience working with members of the public
- Experience of basic record keeping
- Ability to work possible shift patterns including evenings, weekends & public/bank holidays
- Good understanding of health and safety practice relevant to the post
- Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain high standard of cleanliness in accordance with specified requirements
- Hold a full current driving licence and access to transport, or access to transport to meet the requirements of the post*
- Desirable: at least 6 months previous experience of patrolling and enforcement duties eg car park, litter control

Rate of Pay:
- £11.44
