ICT Project Manager (Band 8A)


Location: Knockbracken, Belfast

Salary: £27.49 p/h

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week / Monday - Friday

Duration: Temporary ongoing

Our client is seeking an experienced ICT Project Manager to take the lead in managing and delivering a range of complex ICT systems and projects. This is an exciting opportunity to shape our digital future by supporting the development and delivery of their ICT strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of ICT projects to time, scope, and budget.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify ICT solutions and develop business cases.
  • Ensure compliance with PRINCE2 and NIAS project management standards.
  • Manage project budgets, risks, and reporting processes.
  • Oversee procurement and supplier relationships for ICT systems and services.
  • Lead and develop a project team, fostering strong working relationships.

Essential Criteria

  • Degree or professional qualification with at least 3 years' recent project management experience OR 5 years in a project management role within a major organisation.
  • Proven experience leading ICT projects with budgets over £100,000.
  • At least 3 years' experience managing teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills and a broad understanding of ICT developments.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of HSC data standards and the modernisation agenda.
