Financial Accountant

My client, a family owned Galway based organisation, are looking to hire a new Financial Accountant.

The successful candidate will report to the Group Financial Account and is a permanent role based on-site in Galway City.

Responsibilities

• Oversee one of the Group company's financial department
• Responsible for monthly general ledger processing and preparation of monthly accounts for the Group.
• Calculation, posting and analysis of monthly accruals and prepayments, ensuring that all items are accurately captured
• Preparation of balance sheet analysis and reconciliations including bank, accruals, prepayments, VAT.
• Complete weekly cash-flow forecasts
• Assist in Monthly Corporate Submission, including month end results
• Assist the completion of the annual financial audit and any internal audits
• Oversee creditor reconciliations

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant with qualifications such as (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA).
• Minimum of 2 years post qualification work experience in a similar role
