Bar Manager

My client, a popular Hotel based on the west coast of Connemara, are looking for a Bar Manager to join their team.

This is a full-time, permanent position and successful person would require to work late nights and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Manage budgets
• Set quarterly goals
• Hitting KPI targets
• Upholding constant level of staff productivity
• Assisting on staff appraisals and training plans
• Providing leadership and direction to all employees
• Ensure quality & safety controls are followed
• Keeping bar stocked including consumables and equipment
• Waste recorded correctly & accounted for
• Keeping bar area constantly organized & checklists adhered to
• Maintain demeanor in fast paced environment & equally make use of downtime effectively
• Stock take counts
• Staff training and personal standards maintained in the team

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of Bar Management experience in a busy F&B setting
• Stocktaking experience
• Financial Acumen, comfort with Gross Profit margins and revenue figures
• Flexibility in work hours
• Candidate must reside in Ireland
• Fluency in English both written and oral
