Job description
My client a 4 star Restaurant/Bar based in Kinvara is seeking for a Sous Chef. This is a full-time, permanent position.
You will be working 5 days across 7 (weekend availability needed)
Responsibilities:
- Set up the kitchen
- Delegate tasks to kitchen staff
- Inform staff about daily specials and status of food cooking
- Check freshness of food
- Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
- Assist the Head Chef with menu preparation daily
- Produce a high quality food for customers
- Maintain a positive and calm approach with coworkers
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- HACCP Training
- Right to work in Ireland
- Strong communication skills in English
