Assistant Cook

Our client, a local School in Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh require an Assistant Cook for a temporary contract with the potential of a permanent contract.

The Role:

As the Assistant Cook, you will be required to carry out a variety of duties including

• Planning meals
• Food preparation
• Food Service
• Completing relevant food charts to include temperature checks
• Control of hygiene and health and safety
• Stock taking
• Cleaning

Hours of work:

• 8am - 3pm Mon - Fri

As the Assistant Cook you will have

• NVQ Level 2 Food Prep & Cooking / City & Guilds 706/2 or a minimum of two years cook experience within a catering setting.
• Ability to work in a team
• Have an appreciation and understanding of the importance of Food Safety
• Good communication skills and good understanding of English
• Demonstrable ability to work on own initiative to meet deadlines
• Possess a 'can do attitude'

In Return:

• Rate of Pay £12.11 per hr
