DUTY MANAGER | DUBLIN NORTH | PERMANENT

Our client is seeking to recruit a Duty Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This hospitality venue is located in North Dublin. There is parking on site and has access to public transport nearby. This an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manager/Supervisor to join a great team where attractive salary and good career development prospects are on offer.

THE ROLE|

Working as part of a team of Duty Managers, reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the successful day to day management all aspects of the venue.

You will ensure your team are motivated and guided to ensure targets including sales and customer satisfaction are achieved. You will be knowledgeable and confident in communicating with customers and have previous experience within a supervisory role.

RESPONSIBILITIES|

  • Lead daily operations within the venue including working closely with F&B operations including restaurant, bar and event catering.
  • Responsible for all elements of staff (35 staff) management including coordination of daily operational plans, training, development, rostering and motivating the team to achieve common goals
  • Oversee service delivery across all areas of the business
  • Manage systems for stock management, cost control and supplier coordination
  • Ensuring customers receive the best service and continuously improve service
  • Continue to ensure the highest standards of compliance within Health and Safety

REQUIREMENTS|

  • Previous management/supervisory experience within a hospitality venue
  • Up to date with knowledge of Irish food and alcohol regulations
  • HACCP trained
  • First Aid Certification desirable however training can be provided
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
  • Customer focused with excellent relationship management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office packages and a working knowledge computerised management and control systems
  • As this business is within the hospitality industry, you must be available to work based on flexible working hours including evenings, weekend and public holidays
