Customer Service Representative

Our client is seeking a Customer Service Internal Sales Representative to act as the primary liaison between external customers and the organisation. This role involves providing exceptional sales support, managing customer orders, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure efficient order processing using the an ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of order entry, processing, and shipment.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding order statuses, changes, confirmations, and address any complaints or inquiries promptly.
• Maintain accurate customer records, including weekly order status reports.
• Prepare reports for internal and external sales meetings and customer visits.
• Assist with Accounts Receivable tasks as needed.
• Create export documentation for FCA/EXW shipments.
• Manage forecasting and budgeting for house accounts.
• Create and maintain customer records in a ERP , encompassing order preferences, product feedback, address and billing information, and contact preferences.
• Collaborate with buyers and planners to ensure on-time customer deliveries.
• Adhere to and support all Health, Safety, and Environmental programmes, policies, and procedures.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Essential Criteria:

• GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years of demonstrable customer service experience.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to build excellent relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and Excel.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience working within a global company.
• Previous experience with ERP systems.
