Our Client have an opportunity for a Snagging Operative based in Banbridge, to join an industry leader in UK's Building Services sector, delivering a wide range of off site-prefabricated, innovative, and sustainable building service solutions throughout the UK & Europe.

This permanent Snagging Operative position, will support a growing assembly team in our clients Head Quarters. It is an amazing opportunity for a candidate that wants to gain experience with a progressive and dynamic company to further their career.

The Snagging Operative is responsible for inspecting, identifying, and rectifying minor defects and finishing issues in nearly completed products. This role ensures that the final product meets the required quality standards and client expectations before being shipped out to site to be installed.


Hours | Monday - Thursday 7am - 5pm, Friday 7am - 4pm
Salary | Competitive Depending on Experience
Responsible to | Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of completed or near-completed properties to identify defects, such as cosmetic blemishes, minor structural issues, or functional faults.
  • Use snagging lists and project specifications to document and prioritise remedial tasks.
  • Update and close out snags on the Ipad( training will be provided)
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments, such as filling gaps, fixing fixtures, sanding, painting, or other finishing tasks to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Provide regular updates on progress and escalate unresolved issues
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies while performing snagging tasks.
  • Update dispatch forms on the Ipad for all items dispatching from Banbridge.
  • Ensure all completed work meets building codes and client specifications.

Essential Criteria:

  • 3 year's experience within a role completing similar duties.
  • Being able to read and understand assembly and schematic drawings.
  • Proficient with the use of IT equipment & systems.
  • Full UK Driving licence.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ in construction, CSR) are advantageous.
