Job Title: Centre Manager (Person in Charge)
Location: Co. Laois
Contract: 4-6 Months (Full-Time)
Salary: From €55,000 per annum (DOE)
Leave: 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays
About the Role:
Staffline Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Centre Manager (Person in Charge) for a residential service supporting children and young people in Co. Laois. This is a fixed-term contract position (4-6 months) offering an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated team and make a meaningful impact in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential centre.
Ensure governance, compliance, and quality standards are maintained in line with HIQA and company policies.
Provide leadership and supervision to staff, fostering a safe and positive environment for residents and team members.
Manage resources effectively to deliver high-quality care and support.
Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
Requirements:
A Social Care Qualification (Level 7 or higher).
Proven experience in a social care management or leadership role, ideally within children's residential services.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, HIQA standards, and best practice in social care.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
