About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regional Manager to support the Head of Clinical Operations in the oversight and management of a group of high-quality nursing and care homes across Northern Ireland.

This multi-site position involves providing strong leadership, strategic direction, and operational support to care home managers. The successful candidate will ensure the consistent delivery of excellent care, regulatory compliance, and financial performance across all sites within the region.

You will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement initiatives, promoting best practice, and ensuring each service operates to the highest possible standard of safety, care, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and support care home managers in achieving regulatory compliance and quality care standards.

• Monitor performance across all facilities and implement quality improvement plans where necessary.

• Conduct regular audits and assurance visits to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care.

• Support business growth, occupancy, and financial performance across the region.

• Provide leadership in HR processes including recruitment, staff development, and performance management.

• Work collaboratively with senior management and key stakeholders to deliver on strategic objectives.

• Lead on incident management, complaints resolution, and service improvement initiatives.

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and external partners.

• Represent the organisation at professional events, networks, and forums.

• Ensure professional knowledge is current in line with NMC registration and revalidation.

About You

You will be a confident and proactive leader with a strong background in managing care home operations or other regulated healthcare settings. You will demonstrate sound clinical and business acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate and develop teams to deliver outstanding results.

Essential Criteria:

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration (or equivalent healthcare qualification).

• Proven track record in multi-site management within the care sector.

• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and quality assurance processes.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
