About the Role
We are currently recruiting a Theatre Nurse (Anaesthetic) to join a leading healthcare facility based in Cork. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and dedicated nurse to work as part of a dynamic and supportive surgical team, providing high-quality care to patients throughout their perioperative journey.
Key Responsibilities
Provide skilled assistance to the Anaesthetist during surgical procedures.
Ensure the safe and effective care of patients undergoing anaesthesia.
Prepare and maintain anaesthetic equipment and related supplies.
Monitor, assess, and record patient care before, during, and after procedures.
Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary theatre team to maintain high clinical standards.
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with best practice and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Registered General Nurse with NMBI registration (active PIN).
Previous experience in Theatre or Anaesthetics is essential.
Excellent clinical, communication, and organisational skills.
Strong ability to work effectively as part of a team.
