ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER | DUBLIN | CONTRACT
With several upcoming projects planned for our client's business, they are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join their team for a fixed term of three years. Please note that this position is fully office-based in Dublin, with occasional travel to sites as required by the business.
THE ROLE|
As part of a team focused on a package of projects currently in development, the Assistant Project Manager will report to and assist the Programme Project Manager. You will deliver and support the infrastructure and systems projects related to their Customer Information Systems. The role requires significant collaboration with internal business divisions to understand priorities and design solutions that align with the organisation's strategic objectives. This position also involves managing team personnel and overseeing third-party vendors.
RESPONSIBILITIES|
- Assist in leading and managing the delivery and support of the Customer Information Systems project.
- Monitor and report on all project aspects, supporting all phases including project inception, design, tendering, construction, and handover.
- Lead and manage the Programme Team, along with other project personnel as needed.
- Scope and prioritise projects, ensuring their delivery aligns with building, safety, and compliance regulations.
- Plan, monitor, and report on the financial aspects of the works within the project.
REQUIREMENTS|
- A minimum of 5 years of project engineering experience.
- Experience with multi-disciplinary projects.
- A degree in Building, Engineering, Construction, or Project Management.
- Membership with Engineers Ireland or another relevant professional body.
- A full driving licence is required.
- Experience with new builds or fit-out projects is desirable.
- Experience in delivering and supporting enterprise-wide systems is preferred.
ON OFFER|
Salary: €47,000 - €82,000 per annum (pro-rata)
*This role will be filled in accordance with Public Pay Policy at Point 1 of the relevant salary scale, unless the successful candidate is currently in a public sector role.*
