We are seeking a proactive Customer Service Specialist to join a busy and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in customer service, order processing or customer account management who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You will play a key role in managing customer relationships, coordinating orders and deliveries, and ensuring customers receive an exceptional level of service from initial enquiry through to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication, calls, emails and meetings.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries, quotations, orders and delivery updates.
  • Manage customer orders and quotations, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Monitor order progress and coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding orders, delivery issues and customer queries, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Work closely with sales and account management colleagues to identify opportunities for additional products and services.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM systems.
  • Prepare and maintain customer reports as required.
  • Liaise with purchasing, finance and warehouse teams to coordinate customer requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-3 years' experience in a customer service or customer support role.
  • Experience within the laboratory, healthcare or a related industry would be an advantage.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using CRM systems.
  • Experience managing customer orders, quotations and product deliveries.
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands and work effectively under pressure.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Why Apply?

  • Opportunity to join an established and professional team.
  • A varied role combining customer relationship management, order coordination and business support.
  • The opportunity to develop product knowledge and build long-term customer relationships.
  • A position where your contribution directly impacts customer satisfaction and business success.
