The Role: As a Warehouse Returns / Recycling Coordinator you will be responsible for Receipt, Recording, Decontamination, Recycling of Powered and Manual wheelchairs and specified parts, and the disposal of specified returned wheelchair equipment
Responsibilities:
- Receipt of all returned wheelchair equipment from Field Technicians ensuring all equipment has been labelled in accordance with company procedures.
- Recording of full details and logging all returned wheelchair equipment ensuring it is segregated in accordance with company procedures,
- Decontamination of all returned equipment prior to recycling.
- Recycling and stock control of wheelchair spare parts as specified by Warehouse Supervisor.
- Dismantling and Disposal of wheelchair equipment in line with company procedures.
- Ensure all relevant documentation is completed in accordance with current ISO Procedures.
- Work to fixed Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
- Liaising with NHS Trust Staff in relation to returns policy and categorisation.
- Ensure all client equipment is handled in accordance with ISO procedures.
- Report all issues, adverse situations, and product feedback to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Assist the Warehouse Supervisor / Operational Supervisor in achieving business objectives
- Liaise and provide support function to Warehouse, Workshop and Administration staff.
- Assist Warehouse Supervisor with other warehouse duties as and when required.
- Ensure all Health and Safety Policies and procedures are adhered to within the warehouse/workshop.
- Assist in maintaining security in terms of observing visitors and other persons on company premises.
- Always maintain a high level of customer service
- Attend training as and when required to update specific product knowledge
Essential Criteria:
- A minimum of three GCSE or equivalent (Grades A* - C) including English Language and Mathematics and 1 year procurement/logistics experience OR
- Two years' relevant experience in a procurement/logistics environment AND
- Hold a B Driving Licence - ability to drive up to 3.5 Tonne Vehicle.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work to set deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively to meet the needs of the service.
Desirable Criteria:
- Forklift licence for counterbalance and or reach truck.
Hours of work: Mon - Fri 8am - 4pm
Hourly rate: £12.71 per hour
