JOB DUTIES:

- Operate from the site security hut, monitoring CCTV covering the site and all vehicle and pedestrian entry and exit points.
- Check every vehicle at the gate before granting access, in line with Sentinel Risk's Vehicle and Visitor Safety Procedure.
- Sign in visitors, issue hi-viz PPE, and direct them to the marked walkway; notify the host to collect rather than escorting.
- Maintain accurate occurrence book entries and complete daily shift reporting using site computer systems.
- Control access on a busy manufacturing site, keeping the front gate closed outside of authorised movements.
- Report any incidents, faults or access issues promptly to the Sentinel Risk operations team.
- Provide daily reporting to the Sentinel Risk Key Account Manager, covering shift activity, incidents and any issues requiring attention.
- Work effectively as part of the on-site security team, maintaining a professional and alert presence throughout the shift.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

- Valid SIA licence (Northern Ireland) - essential, no exceptions.
- Minimum 2 years' previous experience in a security role.
- Computer literate - comfortable using CCTV monitoring systems, sign-in logs and shift reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly around vehicle and visitor checks.
- Good team player, able to work well within a small site security team.
