Location: Larne Health Centre

Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour

Hours: 15 hours per week - 9:00-14:00

The Role

We are currently recruiting a Domestic Assistant Supervisor to support the team at Larne Health Centre.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

· Supervising and supporting domestic cleaning duties across the Health Centre

· Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across sanitary areas, floors, furniture, fittings and other surfaces

· Using cleaning equipment safely, including vacuum cleaners, buffers and floor scrubbers

· Emptying waste and replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies

· Removing and rehanging bed screens and curtains as required

· Supporting ward catering and kitchen duties where needed

· Ordering, receiving and safely storing cleaning materials and supplies

· Completing cleaning schedules and ensuring procedures are followed correctly

· Following COSHH, Health & Safety and Trust policies at all times

· Supporting building security and communicating professionally with patients and colleagues

· Completing any additional duties appropriate to the role

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised and confident taking responsibility within a busy healthcare environment.

You will need:

· Previous experience working as a Domestic Assistant

· Previous supervisory experience

· Good knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe working practices

· Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures

· Strong communication and organisational skills

· The ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team
