Support Services Assistant (Band 2)
📍 Locations: BT8 7HY Brae Valley
💷 Pay: £12.71 per hour
🕒 Available Shifts: 4pm- 9pm 25hrs on rota (unsocial rate after 8pm)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting Band 2 Support Services Assistants to join a busy healthcare environment. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and supporting food service operations to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean clinical and non-clinical areas to Trust standards.
- Clean floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, sanitary facilities, and equipment.
- Complete daily cleaning schedules to a high standard.
- Prepare beverages, snacks, and meals in line with set menus.
- Follow food hygiene and food safety procedures.
- Carry out dishwashing duties.
Essential Criteria
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
No previous experience is required - full training will be provided.
Additional Information
Successful candidates may be required to apply for an Access NI certificate through Staffline, regardless of whether they already hold a valid certificate. The cost ranges from £16-£32, depending on the level of clearance required.
