Part-Time ADR Driver
Location : Dublin

Hours : Part-Time (Flexible hours as required)

Reports To : Transport Manager / Operations Manager

Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a reliable and professional ADR Driver to join our transport team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, compliant, and timely collection and delivery of medical supplies and hazardous materials in accordance with ADR regulations, company procedures, and customer requirements.

As a key representative of the company, you will ensure the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service while supporting the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport medical devices and ADR-classified goods throughout Ireland.
  • Carry out daily vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles remain roadworthy and compliant.
  • Complete all transport documentation accurately, including delivery notes, ADR paperwork, and vehicle checks.
  • Ensure all loads are secured safely and transported in accordance with ADR legislation.
  • Adhere to all Road Traffic legislation, Working Time Directive, and Drivers' Hours Regulations.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of all products during transportation.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at customer sites.
  • Report any incidents, vehicle defects, delays, or compliance issues promptly.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness for company vehicles.
  • Follow all company Health & Safety, Quality Management, and GDP (Good Distribution Practice) procedures where applicable.
  • Assist with loading and unloading when required using safe manual handling techniques.

Essential Requirements

  • Full clean Category C1 or Category C Driving Licence (as appropriate).
  • Valid Driver CPC qualification.
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Current ADR Certificate (relevant classes).
  • Previous professional driving experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of Irish road network.
  • Strong understanding of transport compliance and ADR legislation.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Flexible approach to working hours.

Desirable
Experience delivering medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare products.
Forklift certification.
Knowledge of GDP (Good Distribution Practice).
