Our client, a leading manufacturing company, has a vacancy for a Senior Payroll Supervisor at their site in Co Fermanagh.

The company has been operating since the 1970's and they are an integral part of larger group. They are constantly evolving through technical innovation, and they are now at the forefront of providing pioneering, cost effective, construction solutions designed to meet the needs of any construction project.

The Role:

As a Senior Payroll Supervisor, you will be required to carry out a variety of duties including

  • Supervise and support payroll teams, providing guidance, training, and oversight to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely payroll processing.
  • Review and approve payroll calculations and records, maintaining high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, data integrity, and timely employee payments.
  • Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance, including PAYE, NIC, HMRC and Revenue requirements, while monitoring legislative changes and implementing necessary payroll process updates.
  • Manage payroll-related employee services, resolving queries and discrepancies, overseeing pension scheme administration, and ensuring accurate processing and payment of pension contributions.
  • Coordinate payroll reporting and system development, supporting month-end and year-end processes, liaising with HR, Finance and auditors, and leading payroll system testing and improvements.

Hours of work:

  • Mon - Thurs 8am - 5.30pm and Fri 8am - 4pm
  • 42hrs per week

Requirements for the successful Senior Payroll Supervisor

  • Proven payroll administration experience, with previous supervisory or team leadership experience highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, legislation, and statutory requirements across both Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland jurisdictions.
  • Proficient in payroll systems and Microsoft Office, with experience of MegaPay and/or SAP SuccessFactors considered an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a strong focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and meeting deadlines.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive employee information and communicate effectively with employees, colleagues, and stakeholders.
