Domestic Assistant

Location: Larne Health Centre

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:00pm-8:00pm

The Role

We are currently recruiting a Domestic Assistant to support the team at Larne Health Centre.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

· General cleaning and dusting across the Health Centre

· Cleaning sanitary areas and maintaining hygiene standards

· Vacuuming, buffing and floor cleaning using appropriate equipment

· Cleaning furniture, fittings, walls, windows and glass partitions

· Carrying out low- and high-level cleaning as required

· Emptying waste bins and replacing waste sacks

· Replenishing hand towels, soap, toilet rolls and other supplies

· Receiving and safely storing cleaning materials

· Removing and replacing bed screens and curtains when required

· Following relevant Trust policies and procedures

· Completing additional cleaning duties as required by the Support Services team

· Opportunity to gain experience within a healthcare environment

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and able to maintain high standards of cleanliness. You should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a wider team and have good attention to detail.
