We are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Dromore, Co Down for a Despatch/Weighbridge Operative to join their busy and growing team.

Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day to day operation while delivering excellent communication and customer service. Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers regarding delivery dates, times, and site directions.
• Receive and process customer orders for aggregates and bituminous products accurately and efficiently.
• Work closely with the Transport Manager to coordinate and maximise the efficient utilisation of the vehicle fleet.
• Handle inbound sales enquiries in a professional and customer-focused manner.
• Respond to customer queries promptly, providing effective and efficient solutions.
• Deliver high quality after sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining strong customer relationships.

What We're Looking For

• English & Maths GCSE (or equivalent) at grade C or above
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and plan to meet tight deadlines to achieve required targets
• Attention to detail
• Competent levels of computer literacy
• Good at information seeking and handling
• Organisational & time management skills
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Good knowledge of the construction industry desirable but not essential

Due to the location of the site, a full drivers licence and access to your own transport will be required

Pay

£13.21 per hour

Hours

6am to 4.30pm Mon to Fri (overtime at weekend's on a rota basis)
